The Challenge

What is the SustAIn Challenge about?

Imagine a hackathon - but more collaborative. During the 6-week program, you will work on the biggest challenges of our society: “Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.”

To improve, simplify and optimize the quality of life in cities by e.g. reducing air pollution, establishing multimodal public transport and smart mobility or preserving inner-city green spaces and forests, a data-driven, economically reasonable and sustainable approach and tech-based solutions are key factors. SustAIn Challenge serves to find new solutions for these multifaceted challenges.

How does work look like? SustAIn Challenge is divided into two working parts. In the first step you will work independently on a Solo Challenge – the outcome should be a validated and reasonable concept paper (2-pager). In the second step, the Group Challenge, you work in teams with the goal to develop a tech-based solution.

Create impact and win a cash prize of €5000
